As pushes for anti-racism continue to force large corporations to examine their ways, many have begun to wonder whether media reactions to the movement are authentic or only performative. This question was on the minds of many yesterday when MTV announced they were firing Cory Wharton‘s girlfriend, Taylor Selfridge due to her racist history.
Now, fans are pressing the network to hold the rest of the Teen Mom stars to the same standard – including Kailyn Lowry who has her own racist past.
