This season of The Bachelor has been one for the books, but the one thing we didn’t think we’d see was Matt James‘ emotional reunion with his father.
Throughout the season, Matt has opened up about how his father has been absent for most of his life, and how his mother did the job of two parents. And on last night’s episode, Matt’s dad was a surprise guest. The two had shared an incredibly emotional moment after a powerful conversation about fatherhood, and Matt made it clear that he plans to be a present husband and dad.
