If you’re not glued to your TV sets on Thursday nights, what are you doing with your life? Every Thursday, I wait in anticipation to watch one of the most drama-filled reality TV shows I’ve ever seen — We tv‘s Hustle & Soul. Listen… I watch a lot of ratchet reality TV but this one takes the cake.
The show follows Chef Lawrence Page, the owner of the Pink Tea Cup restaurant — a staple in New York’s Brooklyn neighborhood that has made its way to Miami. Chef Lawrence has big dreams of taking his soul food brand to new heights, but with love triangles and staff drama, his dreams may soon become deferred.
Season two newcomers, Jon Jon and Cola, have added to that drama. Being best friends in an open relationship, Cola and Jon Jon have been faced with their biggest beef with Chef Lawrence and his fianceé and business partner, Ana, while trying to work out the kinks of their not-so-usual relationship.
Now in season 3, there are new faces but the drama remains the same. Chef Lawrence is still trying to juggle his relationship with both his fianceé, Ana, and sidechick/mistress/lover, Thandi, while breaking up fights between his staff members. Jon Jon and Cola’s relationship is heavily tested as Jon Jon reveals that he’s seeing someone new. Once Cola finds out, her world crashes and Jon Jon’s worlds collide as he’s left with a huge decision to make: Who does he choose?
Recently, both Jon Jon and Cola stopped by our Celebuzz! studio to dish on all the drama from this season. They reveal where they stand with the owners and staff of the Pink Tea Cup, Jon Jon’s new relationship, the status of their relationship, and way more. Check out our interview below!
